The Irish Association with the suppport of Diageo (Guinness) and other sponsors put on Korea's most successful Irish Festival ever by very large measure as some 4,000~5,000 people joined in the fun on St. Patrick's Day, Saturday, March 17, in Daeghagno part of northern Seoul and later at the Chosun Hotel when some 800 people partied to midnight to live music with copious amounts Guinness and buffet food. The Festival officially started the prior Thursday at the Dublin Pub & Restaurant with a bilingual Quiz Night.
